The editing options are available in the open CARd view: open the POT, open the CARd.

 

Two options are available:

  • Edit CARd
  • Edit Fields

Click on Edit Fields if you want to change the Name of the Fields (Alert: any change will affect all the Fields of this POT)

 

If you Edit the CARd you may can change the following content:

 

Field description

Write or modify Field descriptions.

 

Main picture - Video – Audio

To enable the editing tools please click on the upper right area of the CARd:



Add: click to add an image from your device (do not use for video/audio)

Embed: clic to embed video from YouTube and Vimeo, audio from SoundCloud. You are requested to paste the embed code provided by the source of the content.


Embed video from YouTube:
  1. in YouTube clic on Share in the menu under the video 

  2. clic on  Embed and copy the displayed code


  3. in PicOnTrain clic on Embed code and paste the code



Embed video from Vimeo:
  1. in Vimeo clic on the paper plane icon on the video top right corner  menu1-vimeo.JPG
  2. copy the code provided in the Embed section

  3. In PicOnTrain clic on Embed code and paste the code


Embed audio from SoundCloud:

  1. In SoundCloud clic on Share in the menu under the selected track menu1-soundcloud.JPG
  2. Clic on Embed and copy the provided code

  3. In PicOnTrain clic on Embed code and paste the code


Remove: clic to remove the uploaded content.



Additional pictures

You can add up to 8 additional pictures. Click on each of them to Add or Remove content (it doesn't accept video/audio).


 



Text and edit content

In the lower part of the CARd you will find the area for editorial content.

You can add all the data you want to complete the CARd: text, video/audio, pictures, files, presentations from Slideshare or other sources.


The tool bar includes:

  • edit html code

  • insert image: three different options - Upload: drag and drop the image into the insertion area or select the file from your device - Choose: if you have already uploaded an image and would like to use it again - Link: input the URL of an image already on the web
  • embed: you can input the embed code of different sources: video, audio or other multimedia content. PicOnTrain allows embedding from the most relevant mutimedia sources such as YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Slideshare, Prezi and many others. Please copy and paste the code you would like to embed and check if it is accepted by the system (Facebook or Twitter page streams are not allowed)
